The Potsdam–Berlin collective ALL ABOUT BIRDS joins forces with exceptional artist and violin virtuoso JON ROSE from Alice Springs (AU) to launch HINTERLAND, an ambitious project at the intersection of experimental music, improvisation, and contemporary composition. The quintet presents itself with an expanded set of instruments, employing unusual playing techniques as well as interactive, computer and sensor-based practices.
