OSTWIND, Ensemble NKM and Sabine Vogel  -  20 h  - Schwere Reiter München, Dachauer Str. 114a, 80636 München                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Wenn der Wind aus dem Osten kommt wird es kalt. Sich dagegen stemmen geht nur bedingt, also versucht das NKM ihn in Musik zu verwandeln.
 Als Spezialistin für das Blasinstrument - engl. „wind instrument“ - Flöte hat das NKM Sabine Vogel gewinnen können. Sie ist Spezialistin für außergewöhnliche Flötentöne und eine renommierte Improvisatorin. In ihren Performances arbeitet sie nicht nur mit Wind, sondern auch mit allen möglichen anderen Naturphänomenen und -materialien. Der Wind wird durch das schwere Reiter wehen, nicht nur im übertragenen Sinn. Neben Werken der belarussischen Komponistin Oxana Omelchuk und des russischen Komponisten Sergej Khismatov steht auch eine Uraufführung von NKM-Mitglied Christoph Reiserer und natürlich Stücke von Sabine Vogel auf dem Programm. Mitwirkende: Sabine Vogel, NKM mit Anna-Maria Bogner, Christoph Reiserer, Tobi Weber und Friedemann von Rechenberg und sowie den weiteren Gästen Michaela Buchholz und Caio de Azevedo

Als John Cage apostrophierte, dass alles, was wir hören, Musik sei, revolutionierte er unser Hören. Als Murray R. Schafer Mitte der 70er-Jahre das Phänomen der Soundscape entdeckte und theoretisch entwickelte, erschloss er ein neues musikalisches Terrain. Immer mehr Komponistinnen und Komponisten, Klangkünstlerinnen und Klangkünstler entdeckten die Natur als wichtiges Bezugssystem für eine innovative Musik und das Hören als kompositionsrelevantes Thema. Heute verweisen Begriffe wie Sonifikation, forschende Klangkunst oder Ökoakustik darauf, dass die Beziehung zur Natur wiederum neue Gebiete erschlossen hat. Vor allem um Letztere soll es in dieser Sendung gehen.
